Do you need to balance your chakras?

Do you feel unbalanced? Overly stressed? Tired? Did you know that unbalanced chakras can lead to feelings of stress, feeling drained or disconnected, or unheard? Perhaps its time to balance or unblock your chakras!

But first, what is a "chakra"?

A chakra is a part of an energy center in your body that corresponds to specific nerve bundles and internal organs. We all have seven major chakras that run from the base of your spine to the top of your head.

If your chakras become unbalanced or blocked, you may experience physical or emotional symptoms related to that particular chakra or chakras.

The Seven Major Chakras

Root Chakra: Color Red The root chakra is located at the bottom of your spine. It provides you with a foundation for life, and it helps you feel grounded and able to withstand life's challenges. Your root chakra is responsible for your sense of security, stability and basic trust. The crystals/stones used to balance the root chakra are: garnet, red jasper, ruby, and obsidian.

Sacral: Color Orange The sacral chakra is located in your pelvic region, just below the belly button. This chakra is responsible for your sexual and creative energy. It’s the energy that motivates you to enjoy the fruits of your labor. The crystals/stones used to balance the sacral chakra are: carnelian, orange calcite, peach aventurine, and moonstone.

Solar Plexus : Color Yellow The solar plexus chakra is located in your stomach area, right above the belly button. This chakra is responsible for confidence and self-esteem. It is often known as the center of your energy system. The crystals/stones used to balance your solar plexus are: tiger eye, amber, citrine, and honey calcite.

Heart Chakra: Color Green The heart chakra is located near your heart, in the center of your

chest. When you’re experiencing feelings of love, compassion, and kindness…it’s this energy center you’re connecting to. When you are not, or feeling disconnected to others, you may have a chakra blockage. The crystals/stones used to balance the heart chakra are: jade, emerald, malachite, and aventurine.

Throat Chakra: Color Blue The throat chakra is located in the middle of the throat where our voice box resides and is the chakra of self-expression. It is where you have your "voice" to your personal preferences, beliefs, and values. Blocked or unbalanced - we often feel unheard, unable to speak our truth, or spill lies and gossip. The crystals/stones used to balance the throat chakra are: aquamarine, turquoise, tanzanite, and blue kyanite.

The Third Eye: Color Indigo/Purple Located between our eyebrows, this chakra extends to our pineal gland and is the chakra of understanding and gut instinct. It is also attached to our intuition and imagination. The crystals/stones used to balance the third eye are: amethyst, labradorite, and blue lapis.

Crown: Color Purple or White/Clear Our seventh chakra is located at the top of the head. The crown chakra represents your spiritual connection to yourself, others, and the universe. It also plays a role in your life’s purpose. The crystals/stones used to balance the crown chakra are: sapphire, selenite, clear quartz, and rainbow moonstone.

Chakra Balancing Massage

Pebble Spa offers a 60 minute chakra balancing massage. During this holistic treatment, we place a colored chakra stone on each of your chakra energy centers. During this massage, we use a deep, soothing pressure while you relax, breathe deep, and allow the stones to balance and restore any and all blocked chakras.

When the treatment is over, we clear the energy in the room with a purifying mist and end with hot, steaming towels on the feet. You are then free to enjoy your newly balanced chakras - and take home your "programmed" stones with a "cheat sheet" on how to care for and use them at home.

Our Chakra Balancing massage is on special starting in July until July 31st, so if you've ever been interested in this great holistic treatment - now's the time!
